25" (64 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head, large brown glass sleep eyes, painted short dark lashes with incised eye liner, brush-stroked and comb-marked brows, accented eye corners and nostrils of uniquely-shaped upturned squarish nose, open mouth, accented lips with characteristic center accent on bottom lip, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume comprising dress with wide maroon satin sash, undergarments, maroon knit stockings, black leather shoes, woven straw bonnet, along with brown velvet coat. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11 1/ 2 Heubach (sunburst mark) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: the rare model with superb expression and modeling is enhanced by very fine lustrous patina of bisque, original wig, beautiful body with original finish.
