Very high-domed bisque swivel head on paper mache shoulder plate,small grey glass inset eyes,deeply-impressed age and frown lines over-all the face,double chin,strong nose,sculpted brown brows,closed mouth with downcast lips and two sculpted far-apart teeth,sculpted wart,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,assembled body whose torso and lower legs are suggestive of Radiquet and Cordonnier,bisque lower legs that have attached leather shoes,bisque arms with cupped hands. Condition: bisque head excellent,body assembled,Comments: maker unknown,circa 1880. Value Points: compelling portrait doll with fine quality of bisque and sculpting,wearing antique gown and bonnet,rare and fine attached boots on bisque feet.
