Description
Of earthenware or celluloid, the three dolls have painted facial features, two with glass sleep eyes, blonde mohair wig, cloth stitch-jointed bodies, and each is wearing well-detailed folk costume of their country including Finland and Germany. Generally excellent, some repairs on celluloid. Circa 1930, the dolls were given to Shirley Temple by fans after Winfield Sheehan announced that she had begun a doll collection. Included is a vintage photograph of Shirley Temple holding the three dolls.
