31" (79 cm.) 17" head circ. Bisque shoulder head with solid dome, sculpted and painted short brown hair with defined brush strokes of tendrils, forelock curl, large blue intaglio-sculpted eyes with prominent pupils and white eye dots, black and incised upper eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, kid child body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 14 Germany Heubach (square) 6688. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: hard-to-find model is especially rare in this grand size 14, with fine sculpting depicting a wistful-faced pouting child.
