13" (33 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes with deep paperweight effect, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows with feathered highlights, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the accented lips, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition and wooden ball-jointed body with straight wrists, antique muslin dress, undergarments, socks, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885, the model is known as "AT Kestner" for its resemblance to the French bebe of Thuillier made in the same era. Value Points: rare Kestner model with excellent sculpting and defined features, lovely costume.
