Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, painted lashes, feathered brows, rose-blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly open mouth with two square-cut upper teeth, accented pale lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, jointing at shoulders with modeled bent elbows and curled fingers, peg-jointed hips with muscular shaping of legs, tiny ankles, painted yellow boots with black lacing, white stockings, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 102 12. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885, the doll is known as "French Wrestler" in reference to its muscular body. Value Points: beautiful doll with luxury details including spiral-threaded eyes, original wig, well-detailed body modeling.
