17" (43 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features, shaded brown eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, one stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast pouting lips, very plump chin, brunette human hair, jointing at shoulders and disc-jointed legs. Condition: very good, excellent original painting on face, arms and legs a bit dusty. Marks: 165567 Kathe Kruse (foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, 1930s presentation of the Type I model, wigged variation. Value Points: beautiful painting of face, nice antique costume.
