18" (46 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and painted facial features, shaded brown eyes, red and brown upper eyeliner, short brows, closed mouth with center line, blonde human hair, all cloth body with bellow jointing of legs and button at back torso (designed for holding seated pose), stitch-jointing at shoulders. Condition: generally excellent, some dustiness on limbs. Marks: 3935 Kathe Kruse (foot). Comments: Germany, Kathe Kruse Hampechen model, circa 1930, this being the rarer wigged variation. Value Points: hard to find Kruse model with original painted finish, original wig, wonderful antique costume.
