5.5" (14 cm.) Red and yellow brightly lithographed delivery van with hinged doors at the rear, delivery rack roof, and a driver seated at the front open cab with steering wheel. When coil-spring wound, the car moves forward, or to left or right. Marked Lehmann. Excellent condition, functions well. Comments: Lehmann's EPL model 550, circa 1915, a remarkably prescient toy, the delivery van was a model of the electric-powered vehicle that enjoyed a run of popularity in cities such as Berlin in the early years of the 20th century.
