14" (36 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with black sculpted hair, painted facial features, blue eyes, closed mouth, on French kid poupee body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: German doll, presented for the French market on original French body, circa 1865. Value Points: the doll wears early transfer-print cotton ensemble and is carrying a basket of wares including a rare set of bone decanter and goblets, glassware, little leather books, and various Grodnertal wooden dolls, presented on original wooden base.
