Description
9" (23 cm.) h. 9" l. The burled-walnut veneer kneehole desk has green leather top with gilt tooled accents, six graduated-size side drawers, and a long pencil drawer, all dovetailed, and with bronze bail handles. Included is a slant-front French poupee's necessaire with painted detail of leatherette cover, and containing various stationery and writing tools; a unique silverplate calendar with interchangeable month plates; and a tooled leather bookshelf with five miniature translation dictionaries. Generally excellent.
