6.5" (17 cm.) maroon. Each is firm-sided box in elegant shape with decorative paper or silk covering in a variety of styles and decorations, one with embroidery and hand-painted designs and having tassel clasp, one with inlaid painted silk medallion and brass clasp and feet, two are a matched pair with silk sack lining, one has original chocolatier store label of Fourbet on 162 Rue St. Antoine. Excellent and perfectly preserved condition of the luxury boxes. French, circa 1875.
