Description
17" (43 cm.) Felt socket head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted brown lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent dots on lower lip, blonde mohair braids, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci, circa 1930, from the 300 series, this was model 3. Value Points: wearing original felt pleated skirt with matching top, yellow knit sweater, socks, brown cobbled shoes. The model was featured in an early advertising card by Lenci along with a Lenci schoolboy, model 300/10 (lot #206 of this book).
