17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, very chubby face especially of cheeks and chin, narrow blue side-glancing eyes, painted upper lashes, rose eyeshadow, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with bow-shaped pursed lips, blonde mohair wig in center part with soft arranged curls, felt body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (on both feet). Comments: Lenci, from the 1500 series,circa 1932. Value Points: very rare and wonderfully-preserved model featuring a fretful-faced bride wearing original very elaborate wedding gown that is lavishly covered overall with tiered ruffles and includes an extended train, organdy pink ruffled underslip, socks, felt shoes, felt flowers forming a coronet in her hair and bouquets of flowers in each hand.
