7" (18 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, painted long lashes, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with comma-shaped smile, blonde mohair wig, five-piece paper mache body with painted blue shoes, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, original paint chip at side of head. Marks: 455 6/0. Comments: Germany, circa 1920. Value Points: hard to find googly model, included is a little leather bound book "The Child's Verse Book" along with a lithographed tin honey container.
