10" (25 cm.) Bisque head with flanged neck, sculpted hair with forelock curl and a large pink ribbon on the crown, movable "living" blue googly eyes, painted lashes and brows, impish smile of closed mouth, muslin body with composition hands, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 954649 Germany. Comments: Herm Steiner, who in 1926 advertised the great novelty of the "living Steiner eye". Value Points: rare doll with uniquely constructed eyes with floating irises.
