10" (25 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with flat-cut neck socket that accommodates to original torso, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with daintily-shaped lips, brunette human hair, composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 77 2. Comments: Sonneberg, maker unknown, circa 1885. Value Points: early look-alike doll to French bebes, with closed mouth, rare neck construction, original rare body.
