9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head with very chubby face, tiny blue glass eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, brunette mohair wig, five-piece paper mache body with painted shoes and socks, knit costume. Marks: Trademark Our Pet Registered Germany 10/0. Comments: Marseille, circa 1925, the model was presented in several variations including solid domed with cloth body, and even a composition flapper girl. Value Points: rarest variation of the bisque character "Our Pet" with wig and socket head, has a wonderfully expressive face and original body.
