20" (51 cm.) All-felt doll with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, grey lower eyeshadow, closed mouth with bow-shaped lips, blonde mohair curly wig, five-piece body. Condition: very good, some dustiness to limbs, tiny hole at side of nose. Comments: Margot of Italy, a prominent competitor of Lenci for the felt character market, 1920s. Value Points: the rare doll is wearing her original coral felt stylish dress with black accents and felt flower applique, matching shoes and hair bow, and is preserved in her original brightly-colored box.
