12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with chubby cheeks, large brown sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, dark eyeliner, fringed upper lashes, angled brows with ochre shading, pug nose, closed mouth with watermelon-slice shaped smile, auburn mohair wig, plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F made in Germany 10 JDK 221 Ges Gesch. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: endearing size with wonderful detail of original body, original wig, pate, great expression, antique costume, original Kestner crown paper label on chest, and owning a little mohair pup with inset upper-glancing eyes.
