Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted long curly lashes, one stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with beautifully-shaped lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, lovely antique dress and bonnet, leather shoes, undergarments. Condition: faint hairline from right eyebrow to crown rim, faint hairline at back of head, body is original albeit very worn on torso and arms. Marks: Simon & Halbig S&H I (Roman numeral I. Comments: Simon and Halbig, from their very rare series of dolls marked with Roman numerals, this model and the IV model being the most rare. Value Points: extremely rare and gorgeous doll with superb modeling and bisque.
