Description
8" (20 cm.) All-wooden man, socket head, painted brown hair, sideburns and extended moustache, painted blue eyes, closed mouth, jointing at shoulders and hips, and extra jointing at elbows and knees, wearing green serge suit with tacked-on leather ammunition belt with pouch, holster and rifle, woven hat, leather strap case, and rifle. Excellent condition. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1909, the figure depicts the Great Guide from Teddy's Adventures in Africa series, along with wooden spotted reindeer with glass eyes, swivel neck, closed mouth, leather ears and painted leather horns, with shaded brown/cream painted coat with original spotted effect.
