Description
23" (57 cm.) Bisque socket head, dark blue glass sleep eyes, thick dark eyeliner, fringed upper lashes, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with very full downcast lips, dimpled chin, brunette human hair hand-tied wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, dime-sized missing piece of bisque at very bottom of neck socket. Marks: K*R 114 57. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: rare glass-eyed variation of Gretchen, with very fine matte bisque, very full lips accentuating the pouting expression.
