Description
6" (15 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso, chubby face and tummy, blue glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, painted lashes, single-stroke brows, pug nose, closed mouth with impish smile, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted blue socks and black one-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent, one thumb reglued. Marks: 189 2/0 (head) 2/0 (inside limbs). Comments: Germany, circa 1920. Value Points: charming little googly with all matched and signed body parts, lovely costume. Included is a woven basket with silk lining, containing an assortment of celluloid jars, brushes, mirror, each decorated with a design of a little duck.
