9" (23 cm.) Of tightly-woven brown cotton, with pressed and hand-painted facial details, outlined blue side-glancing eyes, black single-stroke brows, closed mouth with defined teeth, turban wrapped hair, bangle earrings, stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips, and wearing factory original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1931 Colonial Exposition, Boulouchou, Porte-Bonheur (one side of paper label) Poupees "San Rival" 11 rue Villedo, Paris , 1er" (other side). Comments: French, circa 1930s. Value Points: perfectly preserved salon doll in miniature size, with original costume, label and box.
