Description
3" (8 cm.) -15". A collection of 11 bisque figurines depicting children with sculpted costumes, bonnet and doll or toy clasped in their arms. In one, a young boy holds two blue-suited Polichinelles, the largest (with Rudolstadt insignia) holds a bonneted doll in her extended arms; in another, a little dog tries to steal the shoe of a little doll; and yet another, a little boy holds an umbrella over the head of a little girl and her doll. Generally excellent, few very minor rubs. Germany, circa 1885, a wonderful collection of doll-themed figurines.
