Very pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,almond-shaped blue glass inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted lashes,arched feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees,bisque arms to above the elbows,dainty day dress,undergarments,boots,woven bonnet with rose streamers,jewelry,and woven basket. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 5 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig for the French market,circa 1875. Value Points: very beautiful face with gentle expression,lovely bisque and painting,rare bisque arms.
