18" (46 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with oval face and elongated throat, black painted pate on solid dome, painted facial features, muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain arms to above the elbow. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: G (script, inside head). Comments: Attributed to Gera, Germany, circa 1880, the doll wears lovely antique checkered print dress, layered undergarments, knit stockings, shoes.
