Description
19" (48 cm.) Solid domed porcelain shoulder head with black painted pate, early mohair wig. painted facial features, slight smile, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms, porcelain lower legs. Condition: generally excellent, one leg broken. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, the beautiful doll wears her original country costume of black wool with quilted petticoat, red edging on laced bodice, and with two hand-decorated purses and black cap.
