Description
8" (20 cm.) All-wooden light-brown-complexioned man, swivel head, thick black painted brows, painted brown eyes, closed mouth with painted teeth, black fuzzy beard and sideburns, jointing at shoulders and hips, painted sandals. Excellent condition, some darkening of tunic. Comments: Arab Chief, circa 1909, from Teddy's Adventures in Africa series, wearing original white muslin tunic over pants, braided turban, red burnoose, cartridge belt with sword ammunition pouch, and very rare special Arabian rifle; the Arab Chief is one of the rarest characters from the short-lived Safari set.
