12" (30 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of plump-faced lady with short brown sculpted curly hair beneath a sculpted bisque porkpie hat designed to appear as though woven, with black band and lavish lustre feather, painted blue eyes, red and black upepr eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, sculpted bodice with blue neck bow, new muslin stitch-jointed body and bisque limbs, antique costume. Condition: some overpaint on one edge of hat brim, and shoulder plate. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rare details of bonnet include style, feather and center medallion.
