13" (33 cm.) Pink tinted porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair in deep loops over the ears and drawn into chignon, elegantly shaped face and elongated slender throat, painted facial features, small blue eyes, muslin stitch-jointed body with pink-tinted porcelain arms to above the elbows, antique gown, undergarments, leather slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 (and ink script artist marks, inside head). Comments: Germany, circa 1850.
