15" (38 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair waved around the sides of the face and drawn to the back where it is covered by a large sculpted hair bow and streamers onto the nape, deeply sculpted eye sockets, painted facial features, blue eyes, closed mouth, muslin body, porcelain arms to above the elbows, antique undergarments, leather slippers. Condition: generally excellent, paint rubs on hair. Comments: Germany, circa 1850.
