11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted long lashes, feathered brows, rose-blushed eyeshadows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed in vintage silk dress and lace bonnet. Condition: generally excellent, body not original but is appropriately sized and of the same era. Marks: 5 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Sonneberg, mystery maker, circa 1885, the doll was designed to compete with the popular French bebe of the same era.
