Including rare 1839 book, 6 1/2" x 4", The Art of Dress, published in London by Charles Tilt, Fleet Street, presenting a Guide to the Toilette, with six color plates designed to be used as cut-out to try various bonnets and gowns (remains uncut); 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" bound book, The Ladies Pocket Magazine, 1826, with 24 hand-colored fashion plates (book very worn, plates excellent); 9" x 7 1/2" fabric bound volume of 66 fashion engravings from 1827-1829; and thirty loose 8 1/2" x 7" color engravings from World of Fashion, 1831-1835. Overall very good condition, but as noted.
