8" (20 cm.) Bisque figure of seated Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with highly-defined sculpting of fur,tail,paws,ears and face,with open mouth,defined teeth (one upper fang missing),and artistically-painted details. The dog bears the Vienna beehive embossed mark with the date of production symbol of 1847. Excellent condition. Royal Vienna Porcelain Manufacture,1847; the firm produced their exceptional works only until 1864.
