18" (46 cm.) The wooden sedan chair ("chaise a porteur") has three beveled glass windows, opening front door, carrying handles, and is decorated with original green paint and scenes of frolicking cherubs. With original paper label on base "A La Ville en Bois". Very good condition. French, late 1800s.
