17" (43 cm.) h. x 26" l. x 17" d. The wooden-framed room is centered by a charming set-back sun room having especially high wainscoting, carved archway entrance and diamond-patterned carving of sun window panes. Waist-high wainscoting continues around the larger room, below the original papered walls, and there is a large carved faux-door, original papered floor, and original fluted room frame. The room is furnished with a highly carved dining set that is original to the room, as well as a carpet, Christmas tree in the sun room, a large collection of antique pewter steins and dishes, and other accessories including moose head, prints, crossbow, other hunting miniatures, and three stoneware jugs, one with a raised figural design of Kaiser Wilhelm. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1895, Mey & Widmayer, the room and furnishings were illustrated in their 1894 catalog described as "deutscher Renaissance" in style.
