Paper mache shoulder head of lady with heart-shaped face and elongated throat, sculpted hair in elaborately looped braids and wide pouf curls at the sides of face, painted facial features, large blue eyes, slightly smiling expression on closed mouth, slender kid body with wooden lower limbs, painted blue flat shoes, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: pristine condition of the rare early doll with elaborate coiffure.
