Paper mache shoulder head of lady with elongated throat, black sculpted hair arranged in elaborate coiffure, painted facial features, slender muslin body with elongated limbs, red leather arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, one craquelure line on shoulder plate. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: rare and elaborate coiffure on the early doll with fine original finish.
