Description
8" (20 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, pale outlined lips, two square-cut upper teeth and one lower, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed arms and legs, cupped hands, very muscular legs with painted blue heeled ankle boots with black tassels and magenta-rimmed stockings, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, tip of one thumb has tiny flake on underside. Marks: 3. Comments: attributed to Kestner, circa 1880.
