13" (33 cm.) One-piece carved wooden head and torso, egg-shaped head, elongated throat, shapely front torso, flat-carved back torso, cloth upper arms, wooden lower arms with spatula-shaped hands, wooden legs with dowel jointing at hips and knees, enamel inset eyes with outlined lips, dot-shaped brows, blush spot on each cheek, closed mouth in firm line, brunette hand-tied human hair wig. Condition: generally excellent, small paint flake on side of neck. Comments: English, circa 1780. Value Points: desirable petite size and fine original finish, the lady is wearing original cotton gown with transfer print of colorful flowers, embroidered linen petticoat.
