Description
13" (33 cm.) -17". Each has celluloid head with brown complexion (two with highly-glazed finish, and one with soft matte finish), large round eyes, button-shaped nose, large ruby-red lips, and with brown cotton stuffed-over-armature body, two with celluloid hands and sewn on felt shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Urika, Poupee d'Art Flexible Brevete SGDG Paris Made in France (paper label on one). Comments: the dolls were presented as Bamboula and Bambouli, made by Urika of France, late 1940s. Value Points: unique and highly characterized art dolls, each with original costume.
