27" (69 cm.) l. x 16"h. x 15"d. A wooden framed five-sided kitchen room has original finish throughout including three-color painted "tile" floor in block pattern, built-in cupboards all around the walls including a pair of open-fronted plate cupboards and two-door cupboard with stencilled designs. There is a tinplate stove with tall intricately built-in chimney, work tables, chairs, and other small furniture. Dozens of tin, copper and pewter kitchenware line the shelves including 15 pewter plates, tinplate utensils, plates and pots and pans such as rare tiny cookie cutters, cabbage cutter, and oil can with spout for filling oil lamps. Standing at the front are two early paper mache figures of women with sculpted costumes and coiffes. Excellent all-original condition. Germany, Nuremberg,mid-19th century.
