Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, very plump face, blue glass sleep eyes, delicately painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, slightly cupped fingers, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 1/2 (head and torso). Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: beautiful plump-faced child with most endearing expression, fine antique dress, bonnet and shoes are likely original.
