17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady, sculpted blonde hair with curls arranged high on the crown and tumbling into arranged finger curls at the back, thick sculpted forehead curls, brown glass eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the very full lips, pierced ears, sculpted bodice with ruffled V-shaped wide collar trimmed with beading and pink threading, new muslin stitch-jointed body and limbs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 144 - 6. Comments: C.F. Kling, circa 1870. Value Points: fancy coiffure trimmed with black decorative comb, glass eyes, fancy bodice, maker's signature.
