Description
17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulder head turned to the side and tilted downward, sculpted blonde hair with arranged tousled curls at the forehead, and ringlet curls at the back decorated with wide black sculpted bow, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 896 #6. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1875. Value Points: rarity factors include maker's mark, glass eyes, fancy coiffure with black hair bow.
