Description
5"l. Colorfully lithographed tin toy features a derby-capped man with red vest, polka dotted shirt and blue striped pants sitting in a derby car holding the spoked steering wheel, the car with one lantern head-lamp and a tut-tut horn. The cart is lithographed grey with narrow white striping and there are three colorful spiral design wheels. When wound, the car propels and circles, and Peter bounces up and down in his seat. Marked with Lehmann spindle press but only letter P, Marke Patent, made in Germany, Peter, and model number 503. Germany, circa 1925. Excellent condition, beautiful lithography, functions well.
