9" (23 cm.) l. barrel stand. 7"h. monk. The earthenware monk with well-defined facial features and painted costume is posed holding a beer stein, two barrels at his side, on self base which is inscribed "B.B.336". Along with a Gothic-style walnut wooden cabinet with paneled doors below fitted niches for three large metal-hoop-wrapped beer barrels, each with faucet. Excellent condition. Mid-1800s.
