In his futuristic amphibious red and white tin lithographed racing car with yellow framed visor and yellow radiator cap sign that listed the major cities in the car's race around the world, sits a blue uniformed driver with white visor cap. The wheels have fan blades, there are two headlights and a steering wheel. When coil-spring wound, the car races along, the driver appearing to move the steering wheel, arms and head. Marked Lehmann. Germany, Lehmann, circa 1910, EPL model 555, the toy was inspired by the actual racing car "Jamais Contente", a rocket-shaped racing car that set a world record in 1899.
